  We’ve nearly completed our 5 classes of puppy fundamentals and are excited to start with Obedience 1 with our new puppy Coen. Harj is really amazing. He is welcoming and kind and is very good at communicating and giving instructions. Thanks to his training Coen is now a 4 months old puppy who knows sit, come, down, heel, and no longer resource guards high value items like bones.   Both my XL bully’s are with k9 union training and what a difference it has been I have used 5 different trainers previously and didn’t get the results I have been looking for 1 had severe reactivity towards other dogs and with in less then 4 weeks he can sit quietly with no reaction towards other dogs less then a foot away and finally getting him to focus in a heel position

  We recently had the pleasure of meeting and are still currently working with Harj who has truly transformed our dog's behaviour. From the moment we started our training sessions, it was evident that Harj has a deep understanding of canine behaviour and a genuine passion for helping dogs and their owners.

One of the first commands we tackled was "sit," and within just a few sessions, Otis was sitting on command consistently. Harj used positive reinforcement techniques, rewarding Otis with treats and praise, which made the learning process enjoyable for all of us. It was amazing to witness the progress our dog made in such a short period of time.

Next, we moved on to "stay" and "heel." These commands were particularly challenging for our energetic boy but Harj’s patience and expertise made all the difference. With consistent practice and guidance, Otis is learning the importance of staying in place and walking calmly by our side. These skills have greatly improved our walks and made them much more enjoyable for us. When Otis hears the sound of the pinch collar he gets excited and waits at the front door. He knows it’s time for training and you can tell he is truly engaged and enjoying himself - the chicken wieners are an added bonus.

Lastly, we tackled the "down" command. This is a bit more challenging for Otis as he often struggles with impulse control. However, Harj’s techniques and guidance helped Otis understand that lying down on command was a positive behaviour. He still has a bit more practice to go but we feel with daily training this will improve.

We look forward to the group training on Sundays. Our dog has become a lot less stressed in the company of other dogs and we can see he is becoming calmer as the weeks go by.

Overall, I cannot recommend this dog trainer enough. Harj’s expertise, patience, and positive reinforcement techniques have truly transformed our dog's behaviour. Not only has Otis learned essential commands, but our bond has also strengthened through the training.   My dog thor and I have been having one on one sessions with Harj for a couple of weeks. I have already began to see improvements in thor, when we go for walks he doesnt pull as much, when he sees other dogs he doesn't react as much, and at home he's been more obedient to commands. I am so excited to start the group classes and to continue working with Harj and see how much more thor will improve.

  Been working  with K9 Union Training Academy  for almost a year now with my one dog. He always there when I have a question and as well with one on one session he was able  to work around my schedule.
